Organisers say the exhibition offers direct access to procurement decision-makers from leading furniture manufacturers as demand for leather and related materials continues to grow. According to figures cited by ACLE, China’s furniture retail sales reached RMB209.19 billion (US$30.77 billion) in 2025, up 14.6% year on year, while the country’s leather home décor and furniture market is forecast to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 6.3%. China also retained its position as the world’s largest furniture exporter, with exports worth US$67.81 billion in 2025.
The exhibition will showcase technologies and materials aimed at the furniture supply chain, including chrome-free tanning, water-based coatings, biobased materials, automated manufacturing equipment, intelligent quality inspection systems and high-performance leather for upholstered furniture. Live demonstrations will highlight solutions designed to improve environmental compliance, production efficiency and product quality.
ACLE said the event is intended to help suppliers capitalise on opportunities created by China’s continuing investment in higher-value, greener furniture manufacturing and increasing demand from both domestic and international markets.
