On March 18, 2026, the Preliminary Round of the 29th (2026) GLM Award Leather, Fur and Fashion Clothing Design Competition, hosted by
the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), was held in Haining, Zhejiang
Province.
With the theme of “The New Order,” this year’s competition
featured five sub-themes: “A New Chapter of Nature,” “The
Post-Algorithm Era,” “Sensory Revival,” “Declaration of
De-ordering,” and “Beneath the Glitter.”
According to reports, since its launch in November 2025, the competition
has received an impressive 1,159 entries from 102 institutions, including Jiangxi
Institute of Fashion Technology, with 25 designs entered the finals.
