Chanel’s comparable revenue has reportedly increased 16% in the first half of 2026, outperforming several major luxury rivals, according to Bloomberg financial reporting, as demand strengthened following the debut of creative director Matthieu Blazy’s first collections.
The new collections, which began arriving in stores in March 2026, are understood to have contributed to the luxury house’s strong performance. Reuters said Chanel’s growth contrasted with more subdued results from publicly listed luxury groups including LVMH and Hermès.
The reported performance follows Chanel’s return to growth in 2025, when revenue rose 2% to US$19.3 billion and operating profit increased 5% to US$4.7 billion. Reuters attributed the recovery partly to strong demand for Blazy’s designs, which attracted new customers to the brand.
Chanel has not officially released first-half 2026 financial results. However, its latest full-year results, for 2025, are available here.
