Luxury goods group LVMH will recognise three technology partners during VivaTech 2026 through its annual LVMH Innovation Award, highlighting solutions that are helping shape the future of the luxury industry.
For the first time, the awards will be presented across the duration of the event, with winners announced daily on the LVMH DreamGallery Stage. Three distinctions will be awarded: the Best Business Prize for technologies driving growth and operational transformation; the Best Impact Prize for solutions advancing sustainability, ethics and accessibility; and the Most Promising Prize, recognising an emerging startup with strong potential for adoption across LVMH’s portfolio of luxury brands.
The awards have the potential to be of particular interest to the leather sector, with innovations in traceability, supply chain transparency, sustainability reporting, material optimisation and digital product development increasingly becoming priorities for luxury leather goods manufacturers and fashion houses.
Each winner will receive a handcrafted trophy created by Tiffany & Co. Made from sterling silver and vermeil at the company’s Rhode Island workshop, each trophy requires more than 60 hours of craftsmanship.
Since its launch in 2017, the LVMH Innovation Award has celebrated startups whose technologies reflect the group’s values of excellence, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation. The programme has also helped accelerate collaborations between emerging technology companies and LVMH’s Maisons, supporting solutions that have the potential to transform the luxury sector.
