Organised by International Leather Maker (ILM), the Leather Supply Chain Conference 2026 will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, serving as a key pre-event to APLF 2026 in CHINESE Hong Kong.

The half-day conference runs from 12:15pm to 5:00 pm at N101B in the CHINESE Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, bringing together global industry professionals to tackle pressing supply chain issues ahead of the main trade fair.

Curated by ILM, the programme features seven 25-minute presentations with Q&A sessions from a cross-section of brands, leather manufacturers, technology suppliers, raw materials firms, NGOs and industry associations. Topics for discussion include leather circularity and biodegradability, practical traceability solutions and legislative impacts, alternative heavy-metal-free tanning methods, biobased chemistries, cleaner production technologies, AI and automation in leather making, and de-plasticising leather, as well as skills-focused sessions like “meet the makers”.

The agenda also allows for dedicated networking time. Delegate fees are US$140 per person, with discounts for groups of three or more and a 10 % early-bird rate are available before December 31, 2025. Announcements on speakers and topics will be made early in 2026 and the event is lead sponsored by Mindhive Global.

Scheduled the day before APLF 2026, which runs March 12–14 and is one of the leather industry’s premier global trade fairs, the conference offers attendees a focused forum on innovation, sustainability and supply chain resilience.
