From January to November 2025,
the
sales revenue of key tanneries in China
reached a total sales revenue of 47 billion RMB,
decreased by 9.3% year-on-year.
From January to November 2025, imports of raw hides
and skins were 1.286 million tons in quantity, and USD 1.01 billion in value,
decreased by 4.6% and 16.5% respectively. 530,000 tons of semi-finished leather
were imported, bringing in a decrease of 5.7%; imports valued to USD 0.77 billion,
decreasing by 17.7% year-on-year. Imports of finished leather were 33,000 tons in quantity, and USD 0. 52 billion in value, down by 15.6%
and 16.2% respectively year-on-year.
