From January to March 2026, the exports of footwear
products amounted to 2.10 billion pairs in quantity, bringing in a decrease of 2.5%; and USD 9.42 billion in value, decreased
by 8.0% year-on-year,
while the imports of footwear amounted to 38.931 million pairs in quantity and USD 1.31 billion in value, decreased
by 20.4% and 2.8% respectively
year-on-year.
Among them, the exports of leather shoes amounted to 0.12 billion pairs in
quantity, bringing in an increase of 9.9%; and USD1.56 billion in value, decreased by 9.9% year-on-year. The imports of leather shoes amounted to 10.422 million pairs
in quantity, and USD 0.53 billion in value, decreasing by 18.4% and 5.6% respectively year on year.
